I’m Pavel Sovereign, a writer and independent researcher.
I have been writing for more than a decade, mostly in Chinese. My professional research is increasingly in English. This is a home for both.
My interests include technology, markets, migration, civilization, language, relationships, and the ways a person changes over time.
What I work on
AI infrastructure is my primary professional research focus. That work lives at Sovereign Research. It is one part of a wider life.
Why this place exists
I want to keep a record of thinking, changing, researching, and living. That includes finished essays and unfinished notes, fiction and fragments, earlier beliefs and later revisions.
Older writing will gradually find its way here. Its original language and place in time belong to the record.
